When my brother and I worked in the auto industry, he used to always say to me, “Red, you need to make a plan, work a plan.” In response, I would simply laugh.
I don’t know who first coined this phrase, but I use it often. At face value, it may not have a spiritual component, but it’s good advice all the same. Essentially, we need to have a WRITTEN plan of action to accomplish our goals.
Who says? God.
Even secular wisdom says that you are at least 42 percent more likely to achieve your goals and dreams by writing them down an a regular basis.
To reinforce this truth, let’s visit Habakkuk 2:2-3, which reads:
“And the Lord answered me, and said, Write the vision, and make it plain upon tables, that he may run that readith it. For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry.”
